In fact the original purpose of this blog was to document the events behind the scenes through the eyes of us performers. However, Jesse is an even bigger thinker than myself. He decided, with some prodding from a few friends, to create a documentary of a year in his life as an extra.
Jesse is opening up a whole new
genre for film - production by extras for extras. It is also a valiant way to earn his creds as an actor. However, for Jesse Heiman to succeed he needs our help. Are you willing to kick in a few bucks to help cover the production costs? There are many of us background performers/extras in North America. To make his documentary, he needs to raise $65,000 by August 2. So far he has raised just over $20,000.
